Mr. Stutman is a former Special Agent of 25 years with the U. S. Drug Enforcement Administration. His last six years with the DEA he headed the New York Office, DEA's largest. In all of Mr. Stutman’s experience he has learned three absolute facts, which many Americans fail to understand. First, law enforcement will never make drugs completely unavailable in the U. S. Second, most adults know almost nothing about the world of kids and drugs (how many of us know what Special K and Roofies are?). And third, drugs are devastating our communities, homes and workplaces, and we fail to deal with this in a way that will make any substantial change.

WHY DPRC?...WHY TEEN DRUG USE?

Drug Prevention Resource Center Executive Director Angie Ellison describes what happened when DPRC board members and staff heard Bob Stutman speak last year, "We were shaking our heads affirmatively until our necks hurt! Mr. Stutman brought to light the reality of the problems and concerns that we see daily working with teens in local schools."

DPRC and its partners in StandUP Polk, the Coalition for a Drug-Free Polk, were so impressed that they are bringing Bob Stutman back again this year to help our community become educated about the real life substance abuse challenges our children face in their daily lives. We invite YOU to become aware and ACT along with us to find positive solutions to illegal alcohol and drug use and its deadly consequences. Positive change begins in earnest on February 26th!
